  • 1 Large Saucepan
  • 1 Large Frying Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 Cups Water
  • 1 Cup Brown Rice, uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Lb Beef Sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 Cups Broccoli Florets
  • 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil.
    2 1/2 Cups Water
  • Stir in brown rice, return water to a boil, and then reduce heat to low.
    1 Cup Brown Rice, uncooked
  • Cover and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
  • In a frying pan, brown beef with garlic in oil over high heat.
    1/2 Lb Beef Sirloin steak, thinly sliced, 2 Cloves Garlic, minced, 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • Stir in broccoli and onion and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
    2 Cups Broccoli Florets, 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
  • Add soy sauce.
    2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • Stir in cooked rice and heat thoroughly.
  • Serve.
