
Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

- 1 Large Saucepan
- 1 Large Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 Cups Water
- 1 Cup Brown Rice, uncooked
- 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 Lb Beef Sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 Cups Broccoli Florets
- 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil.2 1/2 Cups Water
- Stir in brown rice, return water to a boil, and then reduce heat to low.1 Cup Brown Rice, uncooked
- Cover and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
- In a frying pan, brown beef with garlic in oil over high heat.1/2 Lb Beef Sirloin steak, thinly sliced, 2 Cloves Garlic, minced, 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- Stir in broccoli and onion and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.2 Cups Broccoli Florets, 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
- Add soy sauce.2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- Stir in cooked rice and heat thoroughly.
- Serve.
