In a saucepan, bring 2 1/2 cups of water to a boil.

Stir in brown rice, return water to a boil, and then reduce heat to low.
1 Cup Brown Rice, uncooked
Cover and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, or until done.
In a frying pan, brown beef with garlic in oil over high heat.
1/2 Lb Beef Sirloin steak, thinly sliced, 2 Cloves Garlic, minced, 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
Stir in broccoli and onion and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
2 Cups Broccoli Florets, 4 Green Onions, thinly sliced
Add soy sauce.
2 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
Stir in cooked rice and heat thoroughly.
Serve.
