Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Whole-Wheat Elbow Macaroni Uncooked
  • 3 Tbsp Flour
  • 2 Cups Non-Fat or 1% Milk
  • 2 Cups Low-Fat Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • 2 Cups Broccoli Chopped and Cooked

Instructions
 

  • Cook 2 cups of whole-wheat elbow macaroni according to package directions.
    2 Cups Whole-Wheat Elbow Macaroni
  • Drain and return to pot.
  • Sprinkle 3 Tbsp of flour over the macaroni and stir thoroughly to coat.

  • Over medium heat, slowly stir in 2 cups of non-fat or 1% milk.
    2 Cups Non-Fat or 1% Milk
  • Add 2 cups of shredded low-fat cheddar cheese and 1/2tsp pepper.
    2 Cups Low-Fat Cheddar Cheese, 1/2 Tsp Pepper
  • Stir continuously over medium heat until the milk and cheese thicken into a creamy sauce. Approximately 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Stir in 2 cups of chopped, cooked broccoli.
    2 Cups Broccoli
  • Serve.
