
Turkey Meatballs
Turkey meatballs made with cereal, non-fat Greek yogurt, honey mustard, and onion are both surprisingly healthy and incredibly delicious thanks to their smart ingredient swaps and flavor balance.
Equipment
- 2 Large Mixing Bowls
- 1 Baking Sheet
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Turkey
- 2 Cups Cereal Cheerios, Corn Flakes, or similar, not sweetened.
- 1/4 Cups Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
- 2 Tbsp Honey Mustard
- 2 Tbsp Onion Chopped
- 1 Tsp Salt add extra to taste
- 1 Tsp Pepper add extra to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 370°F.
- Crush cereal in a bowl and set aside.2 Cups Cereal
- In a separate bowl, mix ground turkey, Greek yogurt, honey mustard, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and 1/3 cup crushed cereal.1 lb Ground Turkey, 1/4 Cups Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt, 2 Tbsp Honey Mustard, 2 Tbsp Onion, 1 Tsp Salt, 1 Tsp Pepper
- Shape mixture into 16 meatballs.
- Roll each meatball in the crushed cereal to coat.
- Place meatballs on a lighly greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Serve with veggie sticks for a balanced meal.
