Clean and peel shrimp and set aside.
1 lb Medium-Sized Shrimp
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
4 Tbsp Reduced-Sodium Soy Sauce, 4 Cloves Garlic, 1 Tbsp Fresh Ginger Root, or 1 tsp ground ginger, 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar, 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil, 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
Add 1/2 cup juice from the canned pineapple.
In another bowl, pour the soy sauce mixture over the shrimp and pineapple chunks.
Cover and allow shrimp to marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
Remove shrimp and pineapple from the soy mixture and thread on skewers, alternating the two ingredients.
1 Can 20oz Pineapple Chunks, 8 Skewers Bamboo Skewers soaked in water for 1 hour
Grill over medium-high heat until the shrimp turn pink.
Baste with remaining pineapple juice to keep the shrimp moist.
